- Military Discharge (DD214)
- Death Certificate
- Social Security information
If Veteran is buried in a National Cemetery:
- Cemetery space is provided for veteran and spouse
- VA Grave Marker is provided for veteran
- Military Service – arranged by the funeral home
- VA Grave Liner is provided for veteran
If a veteran dies in a VA approved hospital certain benefits apply.
