Wanda Fugate

Wanda Frances (Tolson) Fugate, 67, of Moberly, passed away with her children at her side on Friday, December 18, 2020.  She was born April 30, 1953 in Huntsville, MO to the union of William and Nellie (Humphrey) Tolson.

Wanda married Michael J. Fugate Sr. on November 1, 1975. He preceded her in death June 7, 2020.  Also preceding her in death were her parents, stepson Darrel   D. Brown, sister Rosalee Davis, sister-in-law Carletta Saunders and brothers-in-law, Phill Saunders and John Stephens.

She leaves behind her children Michael A. Fugate and his wife Michelle, Anthony Tolson, Michael J. Fugate Jr and his wife Danielle, Carl Fugate, Marjorie Haney, and Vickie Brown all of Moberly, 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, two brothers Greg Tolson of Columbia and Steve Tolson and his wife Tracey of Moberly, five sisters, Wilma Tolson of Iowa, Sharon Roper of Columbia, Carol Tolson of Columbia, Joyce Saunders of Marshall, Janet Tolson of Iowa and two sister in law’s Nettie Jordan and Rosie Stephens of Columbia, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Wanda was an avid lottery ticket scratcher and loved playing Bingo.

Services honoring Wanda’s life were held in the Cater Funeral Home Chapel.  Committal prayer and entombment followed at the Resurrection Mausoleum.
