Vivian “Lucille” Brune passed away peacefully, Tuesday, February 10th, 2026 at the age of 97 years old.
For several years, Lucille worked at Kwik Kold in Moberly, MO and also worked at a few local restaurants. She was always on the go, right up until her passing, cherishing time with many friends. Lucille was a lover of animals, always known to take in cats and dogs that needed love. She loved to fish and spent a lot of time with her brother and her son.
Lucille is the daughter of Robert and Eunice Palmer and is survived by her son, Ronnie Dale Brockman of Paris, MO. She was the grandmother of Stacy Brockman and partner Kayce Osmondson (Ashland, MO), Missy Belshe and husband Doug Belshe (Centralia, MO), Cheri Kramme and husband Tyler Kramme (Washington, MO) and Eric Brockman (Montana).
Lucille had many great-grandchildren including, Kaleb Brockman, Preston Reams, Hailee Campbell, Sommer Belshe, Trevor Dubinski, Ava Dubinski, Georgia Kramme, Qunicy Kramme, Slade Brockman, Emery Brockman, Madison Brockman and Peirce Brockman.
Proceeding Lucille in death are her husband Archie Brune, parents, brother Morris Palmer, daughter Connie Backoff and grandson Nick Belshe.
Words of comfort and support were shared with the family at a visitation held at the Cater Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service followed. Committal prayers and burial took place at the Memorial Park Cemetery..
