Obituary

Virginia L. (Kemper) “Jenny” Miller, 87, of Moberly passed away Friday, December 27, 2019. She was born April 25, 1932 in Prairie Hill, MO to Philip and Mary (Canote) Kemper; she was the first born child and grew up in Moberly.

Survivors include her children; Bev Blair and husband Bob, Sharon Crosswhite and husband Steve, Curt Everhart and wife Melanie, Catherine Everhart, Mary Robertson and Steve Miller and wife Tracey, 13 grandchildren; Dawn, Brian, Sean, Kyle, Kristen, Faith, Sophia, Jenny, LeeAnn, Ian, Katlyn, Ryan and Maggie, 18 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Erma “Sue” Orscheln and Marilyn Bowden.

Jenny was a devoted mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She was a fabulous cook and loved family gatherings, playing cards and bingo, planting her summer flower pots, quilting, crafts, painting and most important St. Louis Cardinal Baseball! 

A Mass of Christian burial honoring Jenny’s life was held at the St. Pius X Catholic Church. Committal prayer and burial followed in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
