Violet Lambert

Violet Earleen Lambert, 61, of Moberly, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2020. She was born February 21, 1959 in Clifton Hill, MO to Donald and Shirley (Hagans) Wolverton.

She is survived by her spouse Floyd Butler, two sons; Michael and Jason Lambert of IN, two daughter in laws; Tracy Hendrix and her husband Kevin, and Michelle and David Cornelious, all of IA, three brothers; Dick Hagans and his wife Carol of IA, Donnie Wolverton and his wife Gail of Jeff City, and Leonard Wolverton and his wife Michelle of IA, six sisters; Kathy Fluharty and her husband Tom of IA, Dixie Courtney and her husband David of Clarence, Rosie Bailey and her husband Kenny of Clark, Laura Smith and her husband Mark of Moberly, Sue Pilkington and her husband Steve of IA, and Helen Jean Riley of Moberly, brother in law, Warren Chase of Moberly, five grandchildren, one great grandchild, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Opal Perkins, son Otis Lambert, sisters Daisy Chase and Evelyn Taylor, Aunts, uncles, great niece Chyenne Chase, and niece Stacy Coons.

Violet enjoyed fishing and knitting. She enjoyed a good argument.  She loved to have get togethers with friends and family and she dearly loved kids and her pets.

Services honoring Violet’s life were held in the Cater Funeral Home Chapel.  Committal prayer and burial followed at the Oakland Cemetery.
