Tommy C. Kuhlman, 93, of Moberly, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2022. He was born to the union of Pearl and Clara (Meyer) Kuhlman, February 15, 1929, in Brunswick, Mo. He married Virginia Newbauer in 1951.
He is survived by his children, Kenneth Kuhlman, of Palmdale, CA., daughter Donna Ayers, of Etna, CA., grandchildren, great grandchildren, a sister Norma Smith, of Columbia, Mo., nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers Art and Dale Kuhlman, 4 sisters, Bernice Krehbiel, Ruby Kuhlman, Ruth Anderson, and Margie Churchill.
He graduated from Brunswick High School and enlisted in the military in 1947. He served 22 years as an Air Traffic Controller, then another 12 years with the FAA. Tommy truly loved his chosen profession. He served in Alaska, Korea, Japan, Germany, Ohio, Kansas, Maine, Mississippi and California. He was a generous and caring father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was truly loved and will be missed.
Military Honors, committal prayer and inurnment will be at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, Mo., Thursday, October 27, 2022 at 10:00 am.
