Thomas Allen “Bo” Wilson Jr. of Clark, MO, went to be with our Lord and Savior, Monday, November 11, 2024, at the University Hospital in Columbia, MO. He had been in failing health. Bo was born, March 4, 1960, in Moberly, MO to Thomas Allen, Sr.and Mary Sue (White) Wilson.
Bo graduated from Westran High School in 1978. He then went to work at Heddinghaus Lumber until 1999 when he began to work for the City of Moberly, where he was currently working. He also worked part-time at Moberly Lumber. He was a member of the Moberly Eagles Aerie 2669 and was also a member of Carpenter Street Baptist Church.
He married Delana Ann Chism at North Park Baptist Church on January 3, 1998, in Moberly, MO. His pride and joy was his daughter, Samantha Ann Wilson, aka “Sister”. She was born on August 20, 2000.
Bo loved to hunt and fish and went deer hunting every year with his best man, Bob Novotney. He was an avid fan of the MU Tigers, Kansas City Chiefs, and St Louis Cardinals. He also loved listening to his old country music, such as George Jones, Merle Haggard, and Hank Williams Jr. and Sr. Bo did not know a stranger. He was a jokester and treated everyone the same. He was a gentle giant.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas A, Sr., father-in-law, Lester Dale Chism and a brother, John Wilson. He is survived by his wife and daughter. Also surviving are his mother, Mary Sue Wilson of Moberly, MO, sister, Diana Wilson of Huntsville, MO, sister, Mary Lou Woods (Matt Lawson) of Prairie Hill, MO and brother, Larry Wilson (Shondra Wilson) of Bolivar, MO. Uncles Jack (Donna) White of Moberly, Wayne White of Jacksonville, MO, Roger Messer of Cairo, MO, and his beloved Aunt Betty Hunt of Moberly, MO, his mother-in-law, Mercita Chism of Clark, MO, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Memorials can be made to the Fairview Cemetery.
Words of comfort and support may be shared with the family at a visitation to be held Thursday November 14, 2024, 3-6 P.M at the Cater Funeral Home. Services honoring and celebrating Bo’s life will be Friday November 15, 2024, 10:30 A.M in the Cater Funeral Home Chapel. Committal prayer and burial will take place at the Fairview Cemetery, Clark, MO
