Terry May

Terry Wayne May, 70, of Moberly, went to meet the Lord Wednesday, December 04, 2024, at his home.  Terry was born, April 4, 1954, in Moberly, to the union of Deryl and Ethel (Evans) May.

He was a retired Missouri school teacher with multiple degrees, a member of the Sweet Springs Baptist Church, a sports enthusiast, but he especially loved wrestling, which he excelled in.

Terry was united in marriage to Debbie Prewitt, June 5, 1999, she survives of the home.  Also surviving are his children, Lisa White and Wesley May, grandchildren Ashley Wilson, Shelly (Austin) Harlan, Destiny Gordy, Jordan May, great grandchildren Raelynn Harlan and Noah Wilson.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Keith.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sweet Springs Baptist Church Camp.

Words of comfort and support were shared with the family at a visitation held at Cater Funeral Home.  Funeral services honoring and celebrating Terry’s life were held at the Sweet Springs Baptist Church. Committal prayer and burial will took place in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
