Terry Ray Fainter, 68, of Salisbury, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2023. He was born December 1,1954 in Salisbury, to the union of Luther and Stella (Spicer) Fainter.
He had lived in Salisbury his entire life. He had a love for life and laughter and his smile would light up the room, he never met a stranger. Terry loved his Blue Ford 5000 tractor, deer hunting, fishing, riding through the countryside, visiting with family and friends. He was actively involved in his church, and well-liked by the neighbors and his church family. His most prized possession was the love from his wife Jessie Kay.
Terry married Jessie Kay (Raybourn) Bryson, June 26, 2010, in Huntsville and she survives of the home. Also surviving are his 2 daughters, Belinda Dawn (Fainter) Still and her fiancé Scott Shannon, both of Keytesville and Dinelle Rae Fainter of Salisbury, stepson’s Casey Bryson and his wife Destiny and Nolan Bryson and his wife Mayra, 5 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, sisters Annia Ruth Mills, Betty Vanskike, Helen Moore Ancell, Caroline Tackett, and Brenda Edsell and her husband Robert, of St. Louis, MO. a brother Howard Fainter and his wife Melodie Fainter, nieces, nephews, other family and relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Lee Fainter.
In honoring Terry's and the families wishes, memorials to the University of Missouri Hospital Pulmonary Department or the St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
Words of comfort and support may be shared with the family at a visitation to be held, Wednesday, October 11, 2023, 11:30 am– 1:00 pm in the Cater Funeral Home Chapel to be followed by services honoring and celebrating Terry’s life at 1:00 PM. Committal prayer and burial will take place at The Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, Jacksonville.
