Shari Brown

Shari Sue Brown, 78, of Eldon, MO, passed away, October 4th, 2025, at Lake Regional Hospital.

Shari was born on March 23rd, 1947, in Des Moines, Iowa. Shari graduated from Des Moines Technical High School in 1965 and went on to the Iowa School of Beauty.

She had a passion for fishing, reading, gardening, and spending time with her dogs. She will always be remembered for her large personality, loving heart, and storytelling.

She is survived by  grandchildren, Wes Geary, Shawn Milka, Zac Van Sickle, Alex Cain, Nicholas Parks, Hunter Cain, and Brett Parks; and great-grandchildren Lily Milka, Oliver Parks, Xavier Parks, Michael and Emery VanSickle,Robert and Silas Cain.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Helen and George Newsome; her daughters, Lisa Geary and Lori Parks; and her brother, Michael Peterson. 

The family will be holding a celebration of life in honor of Shari and all the lives she was a part of at a later date.
