Sandra K. "Sandy" Davis

Sandra Kay “Sandy” Davis, 76, of Madison, MO, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 12, 2025 at Moberly Regional Medical Center, Moberly, MO. Sandy was born September 7, 1948 in Tucson, AZ to Floyd and Alma Ruth Doyle.

Sandy graduated from Peoria High School in Peoria, AZ. She was united in marriage to Samuel Davis, July 11, 1986, in Paris, MO. Sandy enjoyed cross stitching, working crossword puzzles, various card games, watching TV, and an occasional visit to the casino. Her family and friends will always remember her for her kindhearted disposition.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Linda Calhoun.

Sandy is survived by  her children: James DeOrnellis of Hollister, MO, John DeOrnellis of Moberly, MO, Jerry and Stepanie DeOrnellis of Madison, MO, Kam and Peggy Davis of Moberly, MO, Timothy (Davis) and Tina Rinehart of Moberly, MO; grandchildren: Kaira DeOrnellis of Springfield, MO, Aaron and Dorothie DeOrnellis of Branson, MO, James DeOrnellis of Madison, MO, David DeOrnellis of Madison, MO, Justin and Kendra DeOrnellis of Holliday, MO, Brittany and Ron Dickson of Moberly, MO, Brett and Shelly Davis of Moberly, MO, Ashley and Mike Grant of Moberly, MO, Amanda and Brandon Milliken of Columbia, MO, & Timothy and Kelly Rinehart Jr. of Moberly, MO; eleven great grandchildren: Joanna DeOrnellis, Elizabeth Reisenauer, Keegan Vilt, Addyson Mallory, Cooper Dickson, Callie Dickson, Warren Davis, Elliott Davis, Kenlee Grant, Jocelyn Milliken, & Fiona Rinehart.

Words of comfort and support were shared with the family at a joint visitation held Friday, March 6, 2026, at the Cater Funeral Home. A private committal will take place at a later date.
