Obituary
Roy L Chapman, Sr., 83, of Holiday, MO left this life Tuesday, June 27, 2023 after a short illness. He was born Nov.6,1939, to the union of the late David and Bertha (Younger) Chapman at Houston Arkansas.
Roy was a graduate of Hickman High School, Columbia,MO.,graduating in1957; he had retired from the Norfolk & Southern Railroad in 1981.
Roy is survived by his 6 children, Roy Chapman and Kimberly Reed, Scott Chapman and his wife Michelle all of Moberly, Marcus Chapman and his wife Cyndi of Columbia, Shauna Chapman and Barry Long of Vandalia, Volorie Lee of Columbia and Timmie Chapman also of Columbia, 16 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, brothers Dennis Chapman of Mexico, Jerry Chapman of Fulton, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Jimmy Chapman.
At Roy’s request there will be no public services at this time.
