Ronald McWhorter

Ronald L. “Ron” McWhorter, 82, passed away Monday, April 1, 2024.  He was born, February 14, 1942, in Moberly, to the union of Chester and Rosa (Staley) McWhorter.

Ron married Shirley White, October 06, 1961, in Moberly, MO and she preceded him in death October 28, 2015.

Also preceding him in death are his parents.

He is survived by his children, David McWhorter and his wife Karen of Raccoon, KY, Paul McWhorter and his wife Victoria, of Olathe, KS and Amanda McWhorter of Moberly, MO, 4 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, a brother Dan McWhorter and his wife Marilyn of Sullivan, MO, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services honoring and celebrating Ron’s life were held graveside at the Oakland Cemetery, Moberly.  Committal prayer and burial followed.
