Ron was a lifetime member of the Huntsville Christian Church where he and his late wife, Nikki, raised their children. He taught his children and grandchildren his love of the outdoors and hunting. He spent his final days in the mountains of Colorado on his annual hunting trip doing what he loved. The one thing he loved more than hunting was his grandchildren. He was their number one fan and spent countless hours driving them to and from practices, games, events, tournaments, and school functions. He supported, encouraged, and offered constructive criticism to push them to be the very best they could be. Anyone who knew Ron, knew he was a big fan of all things food. He loved to cook for his family and friends and share pictures of his meals on Facebook. In the words of Ol' Ron "life is short, eat dessert first."
If desired memorial contributions may be made to the Huntsville Christian Church.
Words of comfort and support may be shared with the family at a visitation, 3:00-6:00 pm, Monday, September 12, 2022, at the Cater Funeral Home.
