Obituary
Roberta Lorain (Potter) Vance, 98, of Moberly, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2020. She was born May 17, 1922 in Renick to William and Bertha (Lamboy) Potter.
She married John A Vance on December 19, 1942 in Moberly and they were married for 56 years before his passing on August 26, 1998. Also preceding her in death were her parents, two brothers; Harold and Stanley Potter, and five sisters; Mary Durham, Evelina Gibler, Bertha Prewitt, Helen Freeman, and Betty Freeman.
She is survived by nephews and nieces.
Roberta loved spending time visiting with her nieces and nephews and having family get-togethers. She loved animals, especially dogs. She enjoyed sewing and doing arts and crafts.
Services honoring Roberta’s life were held in the Cater Funeral Home Chapel. Committal prayer and burial followed at the Memorial Park Cemetery.
