Obituary

Rita Ann Dunkin, 67, of Moberly, died Sunday, April 28, 2019. She was born July 9, 1951 in Moberly to Donald and Betty (Briscoe) Creed.

She married Jerry Dunkin on December 11, 1975 in Holliday, MO and he survives. Also surviving are children; Chris Rodney-Hilke and husband Steve, Cathi Eads and husband Corey all of Cairo, MO, Jerri Ann Judy of Woodville, MO and Celia Acton and husband John of Lake Nehai, Keytesville, MO, 11 grandchildren, 13 great- grandchildren, two brothers, Ralph Creed of Georgetown, TX and Danny Creed and wife Lori of Brunswick, MO, two sisters, Joyce Nelson of Moberly and Brenda Baker and husband Rusty of Centralia, MO, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Ronnie and Donald, granddaughter, Shanelle Nattier, great-grandson, Tytan, great-granddaughter, Kailey and son-in-law Mark Judy.

Rita enjoyed bingo, rainbows, trail rides, camping, hunting, fishing, picking on her friends and coffee, you never saw her without her coffee; being with her family, friends and most of all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved giving Jerry a very hard time!

She was an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star, the White Shrine and a lifelong member of the Moberly VFW.

A memorial gathering will be Saturday, May 18th, 2019, 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Moberly VFW;  Order of the Eastern Star services will follow at 4:00 p.m. Private Committal services will be at a later date.
