Ollie Lee Breitenstein, 78, of Moberly, MO died on February 14, 2019. She was born on October 4, 1940 in Moberly to the late James W and Helen L (Crose) Manewal.
Ollie began her career in 1960 at the Powder Puff Beauty Academy as a beautician in Moberly, MO. She retired in 2000.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, George Richard Breitenstein, whom she married on September 12, 1965; her son, Vince Settle; a son-in-law, David Brock; a grandson, Victor Settle; and a stepson, Jimmy Breitenstein.
Surviving her are her children: Brenda Brock and Bill Hontz of Moberly; Theresa and Troy Sutphin of Moberly; Liz Milam of Clifton Hill; Regina Settle of Moberly; 6 grandchildren: Megan Brock, Keith Settle, Jennifer Sutphin, Brooke Rippel, and Carrie Canaday. 8 great-grandchildren: Aamara, Aria, Alayna, Lanie, Alex, Trey, Sadie Mae, and Latham.
Ollie enjoyed doll collecting, antiques and growing house plants. Later in life, her new hobbies were collecting Beanie Babies and Solar Bobbles.
The family requests no flowers.
Per Ollie’s wishes, private services honoring and celebrating her life were held at the Oakland Cemetery. Committal prayers and burial followed.
