Obituary
Neil Leonard Seefeldt, 94, of Huntsville, Mo, passed away, Monday October 3, 2022. He was born December 11, 1927 to the union of Lloyd Milton and Elizabeth (Genzlinger) Seefeldt in Milan, Il.
Neil had served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War prior to receiving his honorable discharge. He was a member of the Sweet Springs Baptist Church, VFW Post 2654, Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his children Neil Seefeldt Jr of Lexington, OH, Charles Seefeldt of Fort Worth, TX and Sandy Seefeldt Babcock, of Norman, Ok, 3 generations of grandchildren and the mother of his children, Betty McCray, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Fredrick “Ricky” Seefeldt, 4 brothers, Lloyd, Gerald, Fred, Robert Seefeldt, 2 sisters Clara Jones and Bette Erdmann, and his wife Violet Seefeldt. In
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to St. Jude.
A visitation was held at the Sweet Springs Baptist Church, followed by Military Honors and Funeral Services honoring Neil’s life graveside at the church cemetery. Committal prayer and burial followed.
