Myrtis Arlene Lilly Prewitt, 92, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Moberly Regional Medical Center while surrounded by her loving family.
Born to William M. and Maudie Ogden in Norfolk,NE on November 5, 1931. She spent her life being a homemaker for her family. She was a member of the Just As I Am Cowboy Church in Paris, MO.
On July 2, 1950, she and Carson W. Lilly were married which lasted 43 years before his passing. On November 24, 2000 she married Floyd Prewitt.
Survivors include her children Cheryl Weisenborn of Lee’s Summit, Mark Lilly (Deb) of Fenton and Karen Lilly of Moberly. She had many grandchildren, Great grandchildren and Great-Great grandchildren. Their support and love were a source of great comfort and strength to Myrtis throughout her life.
Myrtis cherished the time she spent with her beloved family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Donald, husbands Carson and Floyd, son Rusty Lilly and daughter Joni Alexander.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Heart Association or the Just As I Am Cowboy Church, 23410 Monroe Road 840, Paris, MO. 65275.
Words of comfort and support may be shared with the family at a visitation were held at the Cater Funeral Home Chapel, followed by Funeral Services honoring and celebrating Myrtis’s life. Committal prayer and burial took place in the Felps Chapel Cemetery, rural, Jacksonville, Missouri.
