Marvin King

Marvin King, 80, of Moberly, MO, passed away Friday, April 26, 2024. He was born in Moberly, MO, June 7, 1943, to the union of Virgil and Ora (Slaughter) King.

He had served his country in the U.S. Army receiving an honorable discharge August 10, 1964. Later he was a school teacher until his retirement.

He is survived by a sister, Virgie King, of Moberly, MO, distant relatives and friends.

Marvin was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Doris King.

Military Honors and funeral services honoring and celebrating Marvin’s life were held  graveside at the Memorial Park Cemetery, Moberly, MO. Committal prayer and burial followed.
