Marvin Doss

Marvin A. Doss, 81, of Moberly, MO passed away September 29, 2022. He was born November 7, 1940 in Carroll County, MO to Charles and Hazel (Parker) Doss. Marvin married Leah I. Jones, April 22, 1960 in Bosworth, MO; she preceded him in death, February 2, 1991, also preceding him in death were his parents; brothers, Charles, Lewis, Wesley and Robert “Bob” Doss; sisters, Katherine Lafever and Barbara Loudermilk; and a grandson, Aaron Doss.                               

Survivors include his children, Clay Doss, Sr., and his wife Linda of Boonville, MO, Mel Doss of Foristell, MO, Eunice Woods and her husband Ray of Riverview, FL, DeAnna Davidson and BeLinda Doss both of Moberly, MO; grandchildren, Cody Martin and Felicia Murphy both of Boonville, MO, Clay Doss, Jr., of Columbia, MO, Nate Doss and his wife Aubrey of Joplin, MO, Kayla Hermanson and her husband Jake of Indianola, IA, Savanah Doss of Kirksville, MO, Adam Doss of Trenton, MO, Niki Howe and her husband Justin of Elmer, MO, Michelle Woods and Veronica Woods both of Riverview, FL, Tammy Doerhoff and her husband Ryan of Fulton, MO,  Amanda Smith and her husband Scott of Knob Noster, MO, Timothy McAlpin II and his wife Erin of Auxvasse, MO, Kyle Doss and his girlfriend, Tamera Boone, Ayla Corbin, KayLea Doss, Jordan Corbin and Kaden Doss all of Moberly, MO; 37 Great grandchildren; sisters, Phyllis Bruce of Bosworth, MO, Joyce Moore of Brunswick, MO and Voncelle Helmig and her husband Gene of Columbus Junction, IA; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.     

Marvin worked throughout the years as a plumber and handyman.   

Funeral Services honoring and celebrating Marvin’s life were held in the Cater Funeral Home Chapel.  Committal prayer and burial followed at the Oakland Cemetery.
