Lutillis “Lou” Gravitt, 91, of Macon, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2025. He was born November 23, 1933, in Higbee, Mo.
He enjoyed being outdoors, mowing grass, going for long car rides. He worked maintenance at different jobs throughout his life.
Lou is survived by his children, Kay Evans and her husband Bud, Bevier, Patricia Bain and her husband Michael, of Whitehall, AR., and Jerry Gravitt, of Macon, 24 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Delores, 2 sons, Eddie Gravitt, Sr. and Lewis Gravitt, grandchildren, Eddie Gravitt, Jr., Hazlie Alisha Marie, brothers and sisters.
Words of comfort and support may be shared with the family at a visitation to be held Friday, May 9, 2025, 1-3 pm, at the Cater Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services honoring and celebrating Lou’s life will follow at 3pm. Committal prayer and burial will take place in the Sugar Creek Cemetery.
