Obituary

William Larry Foster, 80, of Moberly, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2022 peacefully in his home.  He was born in Madison, Missouri, April 21,1942 to Glen L., Sr and Mildred (Harrison) Foster.

He was the State Director of the United Transportation Union and also a Conductor on the Norfolk Southern Railroad before retiring. He was a member of the Moberly Masonic Lodge, and the Sweet Springs Baptist Church.  Larry had served in the United States Army from 1959-1965, prior to receiving his honorable discharge. 

He married Linda McCullough, October 26th, 1968 in Moberly, MO. and she survives of the home, also surviving are, his daughters Lori Barrier (Ronnie Barrier) and Toni Stock, grandchildren Amanda, Nicole, Sean & Nathan, great grandchildren Mikkayla, Kaydence, Mikey, Lexie, Kaylyn, Kimber & Aspen, other relatives and friends.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Glen L. Jr., Donnie, Gary and Wayne Foster and infant daughter & infant son.

Larry loved to laugh, joke and spend time with friends & family. He also loved to go golfing any chance he could. Traveling was another one of his favorite things to do and to make lots of fun memories with his grandkids.

Memorials to Sweet Springs Baptist Church would be appreciated.

Words of comfort and support were shared with the family at a visitation held in the Cater Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral services honoring and celebrating Larry’s life followed.  Committal prayer, military honors and burial took place at the Memorial Park cemetery.
