Obituary

LaVaun Hendricks, 96, of Moberly, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2020. She was born January 26, 1924 in Huntsville, MO to Kenny and Lenora (Stein) Wilson.

LaVaun married Waldo Hendricks on July 3, 1943 at Sweet Springs Baptist Church, Huntsville, MO and he preceded her in death October 14, 1986. Also preceding her in death were her parents and 6 brothers George, Joseph, Allen, Terry Bobby, and David Wilson, and one sister Helen Darlene Forsee.

Survivors include her daughter Teala Hildebrand & her husband Jerry of Center, MO; two grandchildren Troy Hildebrand & his wife Carol of Licking, MO and Krista Pease & her husband Larry of Center, MO; a great grandson Austin Hildebrand of St. Louis, MO; her brother Tim Wilson of North Little Rock, AR; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. LaVaun’s family chose to have a private viewing at the Cater Funeral Home followed by private services honoring her life at the Sweet Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
