Obituary

Kody Ray Allen, 33, of Moberly passed away Thursday, March 9, 2023.  He was born in Livingston, TX, on September 26, 1989

Following graduation from  Moberly High School in 2008 he enlisted in the United States Navy.  He enjoyed cross country, fishing, reading and all things related to the water and lake life.

He is survived by his father Homer Ray Allen (Cheryl) of Columbia, and his mother Karen VanCleve (John) of Moberly. Siblings are Emelie Allen and Quinne VanCleve, both of Moberly. Step siblings include Jack VanCleve, Moberly,  Jodi Vanskyke (Richie), Justin Conrad (Nancy) all  of Columbia. He had a niece Kaedyn Allen of Moberly, nephews Terry Bowen (Kersten) and Taylor Bowen (Courtney) of Lake of the Ozarks, and Vito Conrad of Columbia.  He was blessed to have Grandparents, William Garner of Hannibal and Paul and Emeline Allen of Kahoka.  Also his soul mate, Brooke Dickerson of Columbia and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Kody was preceded in death by his Grandmother, Janice Garner,  an  uncle JR. Masden, as well as Great Grandparents.

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to be made to Big Brothers and Big Sisters.

A celebration of Kody’s life will be held, Wednesday, March 15, 2023, 4:00 p.m. at the Cater Funeral Home. Those who wish may gather at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home to share precious memories with the family.
