Obituary

Kenneth “Kenny” Davidson, 77, of Moberly, MO died unexpectedly on February 20, 2021. He was born in Moberly, MO September 29, 1943 to the late Kenneth Owen “Toad” and Mary Ellen (Ransdell) Davidson. Kenny was a devoted father, husband, grandfather, & great grandfather. He will be missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

Kenny was proceeded in death by his wife of 48 years, Julia (Milnes) Davidson. They were married September 17, 1971 until her death February 16, 2019. He was also preceded in death by one sister, “Sis” Mary E. (Davidson) Dutton.

Kenny is survived by his current wife Rhonda (Hocker) Davidson of Moberly; his children, Samantha & Robert Minshall of Huntsville; Christopher & Millicent “Mel” Davidson of Moberly; his grandchildren Haley & Gage Wiley of Moberly, Luke Whittaker & Abby Davidson of Kansas City; and great grandchild Amelia Wiley of Moberly; one brother-in-law, Robert Dutton of Moberly and other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Kenny started his truck driving career for 7 Up bottling and drove for Banquet and Orscheln’s . He also spent time building houses. Kenny was a lifetime Mason. He belonged to the lodges in Moberly, Cairo, Jacksonville, Ararat Shrine of Kansas City. He also belonged to the  Order of Eastern Star of Jacksonville. 
Services honoring Kenny's life were held in the Cater Funeral Home Chapel.  Eastern Star and Masonic services preceded. Committal prayer and burial followed at the Oakland Cemetery.
