Karen Elizabeth Esry Frantzen Weatherly, 83, of Moberly, passed away, Saturday, November 14, 2020. She was born September 14, 1937 in Sedalia, to Marvin and Lela Pearl (Walker) Esry.
She is survived by five children; Deanna Sly and her husband Clay, Denita Fox and her husband Mike, Delesa Frantzen, Mason Frantzen and his wife Janice, all of Moberly, and Deona Elms and her husband Jerold of Coal Hill, AR, three brothers; Kim Esry and his wife Marilyn, Terry Esry, and Mark Morgan and his wife Sheryl, all of Moberly, 12 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin Churchill Esry and Lela Pearl Walker Esry Morgan, stepfather, Buel Neal Morgan, a sister Sherri Winkler, a brother Jim Morgan and granddaughter Debra Marie Sly.
She lived in Missouri and Arkansas for the majority of her life. She was a member of the Moose Lodge and the First Baptist Church of Coal Hill, AR. Karen was a volunteer foster grandparent at the school she was involved with before the Foster Grandparent Program began. She loved playing cards, games, and having family close.
Services honoring Karen’s life were held In the Cater Funeral Home Chapel. Committal prayer and burial followed at the Sugar Creek Cemetery.
