Jonn H. “Bo” Bosecker, 67, of Moberly, passed away, Saturday, October 7, 2023. He was born July 18, 1956, in Peoria, IL. to the union of Harold and Mary Sue (Robley) Bosecker. Jonn is survived by his daughter, Sunitha Bosecker, of Columbia, Mo., a brother, Scott Bosecker, and his wife, Lynn, of Peoria, IL, a niece, Jacki (Bosecker) Fugitt of Peoria, IL, two nephews; Keith Bosecker of Peoria, IL, and Steve Bosecker of Peoria, IL, sister-in-law, Chris Bosecker, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Gregg and Bradd, and a sister, Kymm Bosecker.
Jonn “Bo” lost his battle against liver cancer. His family wishes to extend a heartfelt thanks to the dedicated staff of the St. Luke’s Hospital & Liver Transplant Program in Kansas City, Mo.
Jonn “Bo” was a talented carpenter eager to help anyone with home improvement projects. He was a loyal fan of the Chicago Cubs and would go on annual Spring Training trips in Arizona with his father, brother, and nephew. He was the biggest Moberly Greyhound basketball fan, served as the Greyhound Booster Club president, and cheered at the halfcourt line every game. He enjoyed caring for horses and, over the decades, participated in trail rides. Most importantly, he was a dedicated father to his daughter, Sunitha, and loved traveling together and being her middle school basketball coach. Jonn (Bo) also found joy when he spent quality time with family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Saint Luke's Foundation | Saint Luke's Health System (saintlukeskc.org) to help families experience organ transplants or the Moberly Greyhound Booster Club in honor of Jonn Bosecker.
Words of comfort and support were shared with the family at a visitation that was held in the Cater Funeral Home Chapel . Funeral services celebrating Bo’s” life followed.
