John VanCleve, 76, of Moberly, passed away peacefully at home, December 19, 2025. He was born February 3, 1949, in Moberly, Missouri and attended Moberly High School then went on to earn a bachelor’s degree from Westminster College. John married Susan Lee Gulick and after her passing, later remarried to Karen Kay Garner VanCleve, October 19, 2002.
John retired as Executive Vice President of Orscheln Properties Co. He served on the board of Associates Industries of Missouri, the Community Betterment Education Foundation, and was a member of the Missouri Chamber of Commerce.
John was a beloved husband and devoted father who cherished time above all with his family. He enjoyed traveling and loved spending time at Holiday Acres lake.
He is survived by wife, Karen Kay VanCleve, daughter, Pamela Gayle VanCleve, son, John (Jack) William VanCleve, III, daughter, Quinne Susan VanCleve, two grandsons Taylor Bowen (Courtney), Terry Bowen (Kersten), six great grandkids brother Stephen Burch VanCleve (Peggy Sue) and many nieces and nephews. John was preceded by his Parents John William VanCleve and Betty Joy Burch VanCleve, Brother, Phillip Randolph VanCleve, Sister, Pamela VanCleve Tebow, First Wife, Susan Lee Gulick, and Stepson, Kody Ray Allen.
A Family Led Celebration of Life was held at the Heritage Hills Golf Course. A private Inurnment will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made through donations to the American Heart Association in John’s name.
