Jerry Lee Twyman, 76, of Moberly, passed away, Friday, January 24, 2025. He was born May 28, 1948, in St. Louis to the union of Roy Lee and Virgina (Wheelbarger) Twyman.
He married Dianna “Sue” Maloney, February 14, 1998, in Moberly. He is a lifelong resident of this area, and he owned his business for 40 years, Jerry Twyman House Moving. He had many hobbies, going to auctions, he loved antiques, playing cards, fishing, hunting, traveling, farming, gardening, using and playing around on heavy equipment, driving 3 & 4 wheelers, and searching for shark teeth along the Gulf Beaches. He was a member of the Moose and Eagles.
Jerry is survived by his wife, a brother, Everett Leroy Twyman and his wife Rhoda Lea, 2 sisters, Sharon Esry and her husband Larry, and Debbie Kitchen, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 6 brothers, Kenneth, Bobby, Gerald, Larry, Charlie and Dennis Twyman.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Diabetes Association or the Heart Association.
Words of comfort and support were shared with the family at a visitation, held at the Cater Funeral Home Chapel, followed by funeral services honoring and celebrating Jerry’s life. Committal prayer and burial took place in the Hagar Cemetery.
