James Leon "Jim" Moore, Sr

James Leon “Jim” Moore Sr, of Moberly, passed away Friday, January 27, 2023.  He was born December 2, 1955 in Old Augusta, IN to the late Fred and Mabel (Townsend) Moore.

He is survived by his children, Steven Eric Moore, Christina Patterson, Stephanie Moore, James Moore, Jr.,and Amy Jo Moore,11 grandchildren, sisters Ellen Keeter,and Linley Moore, a brother Tom Horswell,  nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Jim was preceded in death by sisters, Rosemary and Mary and a brother Fred Moore, Jr.

He was a self-declared “NFL Freak.”

A celebration of Jim’s life was held at the Family Life Fellowship Church, Moberly.  Private committal prayer and burial will take place at Macedonia Cemetery at a later date.
