Obituary

George Allen Wilson, 80, passed away on Saturday, November, 14, 2020.  He was born on June 18, 1940 in Yates, Missouri to George H. and Louetta (Jackson) Wilson. After receiving education at the historical Lincoln School of Moberly, MO he then served his country by joining the Navy.

Professing his faith and accepting Christ as his Lord and Personal Savoir he served in the ministry for several churches in both Missouri and Iowa, with his most recent assignment, as Pastor of Timmons Temple, Church of God in Christ in Huntsville, Missouri.

On October 14, 1994, George married Denice Oliver of Moberly, MO, she survives of the home.  Together they loved being with their many friends for their famous domino games, spending time with their children and grandchildren, and most importantly doing church work.

George will best be remembered for the things that vividly characterized his life; his devotion of being with family and friends and making each one feel they are special, being the loudest person in the room, his studying the bible and teaching Sunday School, and his great fondness of sports.  George loved calling his daughter to talk about “his” Chiefs and “her” Lakers.
