Geneva “Bunny” was the glue that held a family of three children together and dedicated her life to raising and nurturing her children to become who they are today. She was an incredibly strong and loving woman. Her strength and perseverance will live on through her children.

Geneva gave her life to Christ and joined Lovell’s A.M.E. church. She loved attending church and singing her gospel praises. She was a given and loving, God fearing woman. Then, in the home-care profession for Mark Twain of Huntsville (Assistant Living Facility) as a cook for 16 years. After, Geneva’s health was starting to decline, John Williams (Pistol) became her primary care provider and guardian. He made sure that all her medical needs were met daily.

She leaves behind seven grandchildren William Bell, Kelsey Williams, Kaitlyn Williams, Myalah Coats, Kyrese Williams,Leilani Williams, Isabel Anthes and her three sisters Shirley Poindexter (Thomas), Phyllis Johnson, and Gloria RobinsonWhom all meant the world to her. Their bond was unbreakable; they shared countless moments of joy, laughter, and love. In addition to her immediate family, Geneva leaves behind a wide circle of extended family members, friends, and acquaintances, all of whom were touched by her kind spirit.

May Geneva’s soul find eternal peace and may her memory continue to inspire and uplift us all. She is very loved and will be truly missed. Her laugh was one of a kind and her spirit was truly beautiful.

In the words of 2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought the good fight. I have finished the race. I have kept the Faith.
