Gary W. Hopson, 73, of Cairo, passed away, Wednesday, February 19, 2020. He was born April 6, 1946 in Moberly to the late Charles and Doris Wisdom (Johnston) Hopson.
Gary served in the United States Army, until receiving an honorable discharge. Prior to retirement he worked on the Railroad as a conductor.
He married Pat Hunt on August 2, 1988 in Cairo, MO and she survives of the home. Also surviving are his children; Kennalea Hess of Moberly, Rance Devlin Hess and his wife Katina of Georgia, Tina LaRae Eravi and her husband Daniel of Cairo and Amy Elizabeth Ventura and her husband Yoni of Moberly, grandchildren, great-grandchildren other relatives and friends.
Per Gary’s request private services honoring and celebrating his life were held at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery. Committal prayer, Military Honors and burial followed.
