Frank Schillie, Jr.

Frank C. Schillie, Jr., 92, of Huntsville died Thursday, December 14, 2023. He was born in Novinger, Mo., February 15, 1931 and moved to Huntsville at a young age.  He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1951to1953, prior to receiving an honorable discharge.  Later he retired from Associated Electric, Clifton Hill, Mo and was a lifelong member of the United Mine Workers.

He is survived by his wife, Charlene, and their children, Sarah Schillie, MD (Jay Tanguay) and Frank C. Schillie III (Debra) and seven grandchildren, Spencer, Seth, Sadie, Sophie, Sam, Grace and Kate, and several loving nieces and nephews.

At his request there will not be any public services.    A private committal prayer and burial took place at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, Jacksonville, Mo.
