Donald Wayne "Duke" Arthur

Donald Wayne “Duke” Arthur, 68 of Moberly passed away Friday, March 20, 2020.  He was born September 7, 1951 in Moberly, MO

Prior to retirement, Donald was a lineman for Ameren Missouri.  He loved to watch The Price is Right and Wheel of Fortune.

Donald was a great man. He was very well known and loved in Moberly MO. One of Donald’s favorite places to go was The Shack to have a couple beers and socialize with family and friends, where he will be greatly missed. You could always cheer him up with a burger and fry from his favorite restaurant Steak and Shake. Donald loved going to the boat to gamble. Every day, Donald watched his favorite shows Price Is Right, Young and The Restless and in the evening time Wheel of Fortune. He loved cars always kept his car clean as a whistle. Donald also enjoyed spending time with his grandkids they kept him going. Donald accepted Jesus as his savior in December 2019 one of the most important decisions he could have ever made. Donald will forever be greatly missed.

Survivors include his children, Tina Arthur and Lyron “Scottie” Arthur both of Blue Springs, MO, Donald T. Morgan of Kansas City, MO, Donnita Arthur of Columbia, MO, and Alicia Woods of St. Louis, MO, Grandchildren - Alandra, Kylie, Brianna, Desire, Dereon, Azari, Stephon Jr, Great Grandchildren – You’Nique, Kaydence, Keaton, a sister Christopher “Chrissy” Burgess and a brother Linwood Burgess, both of Moberly, other relatives and friends.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Evelyn and Linwood “Peter” Burgess and a niece Dala “Pumpkin “ Burgess.  

There will not be any services at this time.
