Obituary

Don D. Lindsey, 87, of Clarence MO, passed away Friday January 7, 2022. He was born April 15, 1934 in Knox County MO to Cecil and Mary (Douglas) Lindsey.

He attended grade school in Locust Hill, MO. and graduated High school in Clarence, MO before attending college in Kirksville, MO, and Kansas City, KS. Don also graduated from Mortuary College in Dallas, TX.

Don lived in Kansas City, KS before relocating to Clarence, MO where he attended the Clarence Christian Church, and worked as a Funeral Director, and Embalmer in and around the area until his retirement.

Don married LaVaughn B. Vickers on April 3, 1970 in Kansas City, KS and she preceded him in death on December 30, 2012, also preceding him in death were his parents, his son Stanley and two bothers Roy and John Lindsey.

Per his request, a private committal prayer and burial was held at the Locust Hill cemetery.
