Dennis Morgan

Dennis Dee Morgan, 72, of Moberly, passed away Monday, April 5, 2021. He was born October 6, 1948 in Baltimore, MD to Lilburn Dee and Estelle (Kozlowski) Morgan.

He enlisted into the U.S. Navy in 1965 and a year later was medically discharged. He married his soulmate and love of his life, Ella Mae, on June 10, 1967, where they later welcomed Lori, Stephanie, Timmy, and Dewayne.

Dennis was always known for bitchen and drinking beer. He loved to fish, hunt, camp, and have Sunday/Holiday dinners with his family. He was a proud member of the Eagles and thoroughly enjoyed being a door greeter at the local Walmart.

He is survived by his wife Ella Mae, children; Stephanie and her husband Jim Phipps, Timmy and his wife Erin Morgan, and Dewayne Dennis Morgan all of Moberly, nine grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, a sister Donna and her husband Eddie Reed of Miami, OK, niece Debbie Forbis, great niece Lexy Ganaway, other relatives and friends.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Lori Lynn Bowen “Morgan”, grandson Brandon Scott Bowen, a brother Ralph Morgan, and a sister Doris Forbis. 

A private viewing and visitation followed by services honoring Dennis’s life was held in the Cater Funeral Home Chapel.  Military honors also were held.  Private Committal prayer and burial was at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
