Edna Corine Feller 79 of Moberly passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2025.
She met the love of her life and husband of nearly 62 years, Jerry, on a school bus near Greeley Colorado. They married, May 11,1963 and welcomed daughters, Cindy and Trudie, they later moved to Phoenix where they welcomed their son Mike. The family moved to Prescott Arizona, where they lived for 10 years before moving to the Moberly area.
While she worked a few years as a secretary at the Moberly Middle School, her greatest accomplishment was being a Homemaker and she took that title proudly to heart. She loved and cared for her family and always made their homes a special place. She had a knack for interior decorating and usually had a “project” underway.
She was involved in her children’s activities, but her grandkids, who called her Ging, were the lights of her life. She loved having Grandma Camp periodically where the grandkids were in for a few days of fun activities and some shenanigans too. As her grandkids and great grandkids got older, she became widely known among their circles of friends as “the cookie lady” for her amazing chocolate chip cookies. She claims it was the Nestlé tollhouse recipe, but no one who ever ate one believed her.
She had an infectious laugh and a beautiful smile. She will be sorely missed.
Surviving are daughters, Cindy Grout and husband Harland along with their sons Justin and wife Sabrina, Ryan and wife Talli and their daughter Ellie. Trudie Barnett and husband Vic along with their daughter Jessica Ramsey and husband Josh and children Eli and Grace; Nick and wife Jennifer and their children Maddie and Lucas. Son Mike and wife Alyssa along with their son Ben and girlfriend Alison James; daughter Sophie (Feller) Derbak and husband Nick. Also surviving are her brother Mike and wife Cathey Howes and sisters Roberta “Bobbie” Lansaw; Debbie and husband Terry Parker; Patty Ray and other beloved extended family and friends.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Ed and Helen (Powell) Howes and sisters Joy Kirkpatrick and Sara McDowell.
