Clorinda Arsellia “Sally” Peterson, Age 82, of Moberly- Passed away April 18th in Loveland, Colorado.
Sally was born December 7th 1941 in Mountain Air NM to Ignacio & Jasinta Trujillo.
She worked for the Moberly School System for many years as a bus driver. She took great pleasure seeing & catching up with the kids from her many bus routes through the years.
Sally is preceded in death by her parents, husband Larry Peterson, Son Robert (Bobby) Mares, Granddaughters Tiffany & Keishi Mares, four brothers & three sisters.
She is survived by her children- Juan (Debbie) Mares of Colorado, Fabian (Carol) Mares of Moberly, Mo., Clarissa Mares of California, Daughter in law Charlene Mares of Colorado, Jesse (Tammy) Mares of Tennessee, two sisters- Nancy Rodarte & Mary Ybarra, both of Colorado, 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren & several nieces and nephews.
She lived in Moberly most of her life. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church in Moberly, MO. She leaves behind her beloved four legged & best friend, Zoey.
Sally will be cremated with ashes spread in Estes Park, Colorado-upon her wishes. Sally’s celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 3 at 11:00 am at Family Life Fellowship.
