Obituary

Charles Garry Hess, 80, of Renick, MO, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2025, surrounded by his family.  He was born October 20, 1944, in Moberly, MO, to Charles Homer and Rachel Lucille Hess.

At the age of 16 he moved to Tulsa, OK.  There he attended Gospel Assembly church where he met the love of his life, Marsha Kay Kirkendoll.  They were married, November 4, 1963, and had four children, Traci, Troy, Chuck, and Tarina.

Charles and his wife, Marsha, spent many hours researching the genealogy of their families.  They published several different family books.

One of his proudest accomplishments was plotting out Hagar Cemetery where many family members are buried.  He was President of the Hagar Cemetery Board for many years.

Charles had a great personality, always smiling and loved to talk to others.  He loved to sing and worship with God's people.  He believes the Bible was the foundation that you should build your life on.
