Boyd “Gilbert” Riley, Sr., 78, of Moberly, died Monday May 6, 2019. He was born July 23, 1940 in Clark, MO to Tom and Margaret Riley.
Prior to retirement Gilbert was a roofer for 50 years. He also worked at Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids, IA.
Survivors include his children; Gloria Gollaher and her husband Walter of Moberly, Donald Riley and his wife Judy of Joplin, Boyd Gilbert Riley, Jr. and his wife Shiela of Tucson, AZ, Carmin Riley and her husband Owen of Phoenix, AZ and Lewis Riley of Cedar Rapids, IA, 15 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, brothers; Jeff Riley, Sheldon Riley, Mike Riley all of Moberly and Ronald Riley of Columbia, sisters, Robin Riley and Shirley Riley both of Moberly, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Services honoring and celebrating Gilbert’s life were held at the Cater Funeral Home Chapel. Private Committal services will be held at a later date.
