We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Beverly Jean Goodin, 87, of Moberly Missouri on June 7, 2025. She was surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 27, 1937, Jefferson City, Missouri, she was the daughter of James P. Moad and Cryillia M. (Hoelscher) Moad, and the devoted wife of Fredrick D. Goodin.
Beverly was a devoted mother to James Golden, Kelly Goodin, Cryil Goodin, Fredrick Goodin, Susie Goodin Turner, Meg Goodin Johnson, and a loving grandmother to several grandchildren, three great grandchildren and she was eagerly awaiting the arrival of her fourth great grandchild, she was a caring sister to her brothers Robert and Nelson Moad who still survive.
Beverly worked several years as a certified nurse’s aide, she enjoyed reading, crocheting, cooking and spending time with her family. She was a kind and compassionate woman who touched the lives of everyone she met.
She was preceded in death by her husband Fredrick Goodin, three sons James Golden, Cryil Goodin, Fredrick Goodin, one grandson Michael A. Turner and a brother Donald Neutzler.
She is survived by a son Kelly Goodin of Moberly Missouri, daughter Susie Turner and her husband Mike of Ashland, daughter Meg Johnson and her husband David of Moberly Missouri, brothers Robert Moad and Nelson Moad of Jefferson City Missouri, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, who will forever cherish her memory.
In lieu of flowers, donations may go to the family.
Words of comfort and support may be shared with the family at a visitation to be held at the Cater Funeral Home Chapel Thursday, June 12, 2025, 1-3pm to be followed by funeral services honoring and celebrating Beverly's life at 3pm. Committal prayer and burial will take place at the Oakland Cemetery.
