Barbara White

Barbara Lou White, 89, of Moberly Mo, died Thursday, August 3,2023 surrounded by family. She was born January 27, 1934, in Macon, Missouri, to Leslie and Jewell (Miller) Brammer.

Barbara married Franklin White on May 3, 1957, in Moberly Mo, and he preceded her in death August 2007. Also preceding her in death were her parents, a daughter, Leslee Stahlschmidt, a granddaughter, Tobey Lynn Miller, and a brother, Bill Brammer.

Survivors include her children Bonnie (Paul) George, Gary White, Lori Ann (Brian) Pebworth and Terry White all of Moberly Mo, 22 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Prior to retirement she worked as a cook at the Moberly Public School District for 30 years.

She enjoyed cooking for her family, lifetime movies, camping, fishing, and reading.

Words of comfort and support may be shared with the family at the visitation, which will be, Wednesday, August 9, 2023, 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. in the Cater Funeral Home Chapel, followed by Funeral Services honoring Barbara's life at 3:00pm.  Committal prayer and burial will take place at the Memorial Park Cemetery, Moberly.
