Allen George Roth, 73, of rural Madison, MO passed away Friday, February 16, 2024. He was born, January 18, 1951, to Jerome Roth and Betty (Redding) Roth in Highland, IL. He was raised on a dairy farm in Highland before he and his family moved to their dairy farm in Cairo, MO. Allen attended St. Pius and then graduated from Cairo High School.
Allen worked as a truck driver for Orscheln, but his true passion was working on his farm, building terraces and ponds using his dozer with help from his family and friends. As he became older, he enjoyed playing with his grandchildren, checking cows with granddaughter Ella in the gator, as well as going to breakfast with her.
He was married for 46 years to Rena Marshall and she survives of the home. Also surviving are his children, Tom and his wife Megan of Vandalia, A.J. and his wife Amanda of Kansas City, Emalee and her husband Jesse Smith of Madison, Tim of Ashland, and Greg and his wife Stacey of Columbia, six grandchildren, Ella, Ava, Ethan, Cailin, Tanner, and Kerrigan, two great grandchildren, Brylee and Cooper, one sister, Kathy and her husband Donnie Palmatory of Cairo, and two brothers, Joe of Cairo, and Ed and his wife Cindy of Cairo.
Allen was preceded in death by his parents.
Private funeral services honoring Allen's life were held at the Centralia City Cemetery. Committal prayer and burial followed.
