Aaliyah Nicole Bridgewater, 11, of Moberly, passed away January 18, 2026. She was born, January 12, 2015, to Jo Timmons (Riley) in Columbia, MO.
Aaliyah was the girl that could light up a room with just a simple smile. She was the first to ask if you needed help and the last one helping. Her compassionate and empathetic nature made her stand out.
On Sunday, January 18, 2026, Aaliyah met Jesus with open arms after a tragic accident. She will be missed by many because she was indeed loved by all. She was the literal example of an angel on Earth.
Aaliyah leaves behind her parents, Jo and Michael Timmons; a sister, Nevaeh Bridgewater; 5 brothers, Jaden Koch, Eli Bridgewater, Sam & Jaxon Timmons and Chase Foulks; grandparents James Riley & Ken and Mary Rion; 3 Uncles, Jesse Riley and Amber, Kelly Timmons and Brittany, Raymond and Cassia Reynolds; Aunts, Kimberly Timmons & Bobbie Jo and Josh Barton; extended family and many friends. Aaliyah also had 3 bonus brothers, Tony Fields, Conner Heady and Isiah Bader.
Aaliyah was preceded in death by her grandparents Betty and Burnis Riley, Aunt Brenda Riley and cousin Hunter Riley.
Words of comfort and support were shared with the family at a family led visitation Saturday, January 31, 2026, at the Logan Street Church of Christ, followed by services honoring Aaliyah’s life. A private committal will take place at a later date.
