Raymond Edgar Sanner, 76 of Higbee, died July 25, 2019. He was born June 18, 1943 in Monroe County, MO to Earl C. and Rosine (Snodgrass) Sanner.
Raymond served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and had received a Bronze Star prior to his honorable discharge.
Prior to retirement Raymond worked as a pipefitter.
He married Sharon Guffey on March 3, 1973 in Moberly and she survives. Also surviving are his son, Steven Sanner of Moberly, two grandchildren, a step-son, Mark Autrey of Higbee, brothers; Harold Sanner and his wife Beverly of Moberly, Vernon Sanner and his wife Susan of Jacksonville and Bobby Sanner of Holliday, sisters, Marie Palmer and her husband Donald of Richmond, MO and Mary Minnis of the State of Washington, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Lenora Kraft.
Services honoring and celebrating Raymond’s life were held at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery. Committal prayers, Military Honors and burial followed.
