Obituary

Randall G. “Randy” Huston, 72, of Huntsville, died Monday, March 4, 2019 at his home. He was born May 30, 1946 in Benson, Minnesota to Willard I. and Minnie (Wagner) Huston.

Randy served in the United States Army before receiving an honorable discharge.

Randy married Elizabeth Sinning on August 27, 1983 in Lawton, IA. Also surviving are his children; Troy of Chisago City, MN, D’Lisa of Griswold, IA, Ashley of West Des Moines, IA and Cassie Huston of Altoona, IA, seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, a brother, Dr. Richard Huston of Faribault, MN, a brother-in-law, Howard Hatlelid of Storm Lake, IA, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Gerald and a sister Lois Hatlelid.

Per his request, cremation with care, a service of Cater Funeral Home, was held. A remembrance party honoring and celebrating Randy’s life will be, Saturday, Mach 16, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Am Vets Hall in Storm Lake, IA. Military Honors and burial will be Monday, March 18, 2019, 12:30 p.m. at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN.
