Mary Sue Bragg, 87, of Cairo, went home to meet Jesus, Saturday, December 7, 2019. She was born March 25, 1932 in Jacksonville, MO to William Arthur and Mary Woods (Barton) Graves.
Prior to retirement Mary Sue was the business manager at Moberly Regional Medical Center. She was a Lifelong member of the Cairo/Jacksonville Christian Church.
She married Thomas E. Bragg on March 17, 1951 in Moberly and he preceded her in death on November 18, 1990. Also preceding her in death were her parents, a son, Stephen and three sisters; Mildred, Ruby and Betty.
Survivors include her children, Dr. Thomas A. Bragg and wife Lori and Matthew Bragg and wife Deidre all of Cairo, a daughter-in-law, Karen Vandiver of Joplin, MO, seven grandchildren; Thomas Braxton Bragg and wife Jillian, Rachel Bragg, Bethany Penn and husband Coty, Jacob Bragg, Samantha Brucker, Kaleb Brucker and Paten Ratliff, three great-grandchildren; Morgan McDonald, Adelyn Williams and Kayden Michael, two sisters, Juanita Vanskike and Pat Danner and husband David all of Moberly, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mary Sue loved spending time with her family and was a devoted St. Louis Cardinals Fan.
Memorial contributions to the Stephen Bragg Scholarship Fund would be appreciated.
Services honoring and celebrating Mary Sue’s life were held at the Cater Funeral Home Chapel. Committal prayer and burial followed in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
