Jennifer Lynn “Jen” Howard, 49, of Moberly, died Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Boone Hospital in Columbia. She was born December 8, 1969 in Fort Monmouth, NJ to Ronald and Vikki (Smith) Apel.
Jen was a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School in Austin, TX. She worked as a travel agent for American Express Travel.
She married Billie Howard on August 21, 1991 in Meadowbrook, IL and he survives. Also surviving are her children, William “ Alex” Howard of Moberly and Jessica Howard of Arlington, TX, her parents of Moberly, a brother, Gary E. Apel, two sisters, Catherine E. Apel Mendoza and Wanda Wyman- Morris, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by an infant brother Anthony Gene Apel and an infant sister Elizabeth Marie Apel.
Jen loved shooting pool; she was even on two pool leagues in the state of Texas. She enjoyed traveling, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
Services honoring and celebrating Jen’s life were held at the Cater Funeral Home Chapel. Private committal services will be held at a later date.
